*sigh* It truely is a great feeling to be around family. Today, I went bowling, played basketball, ping pong and badminton with my cousins and I had so much fun. It’s different when you’re with your family and when you’re with your friends. When I’m with family, I feel so connected with them despite the fact that I only see them every other year. Even though we don’t speak to each other that often, I feel like I could totally spill my guts to them. And I guess I would if I really wanted to. The feeling I have when I’m with family is so unexplainable, but I can definitely say that it is a very good feeling. If only I could see them more often.
This afternoon, I played with my little cousin Lei. We kicked a ball around and we attempted to play volleyball. Actually we attempted to play a lot of things, but failed. But, considering the fact that she’s only 3, I’d say we were doing a pretty good job. She is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. She’s always following us, and she is so easy to talk to. I always have a good time watching her play, or dance or do whatever. She is a first class entertainer and I feel pretty giddy whenever I see her. Bottom line is, I have good feelings inside me when I’m around her and all my other cousins. Man, today was a good day. I had so much fun bonding with my cousins. I’m predicting that I am going to be very very close with all of them by the end of this trip, and this big smile that I have on my silly face reflects what I totally feel inside.
